1. Use, scope, and purpose of storage and processing
We store and process personal data for the purposes of maintaining contact with clients, marketing communication via email, sales promotion, customer profiling in order to provide tailored content and product offers via email and on websites. When sending electronic messages, we record page views of received messages and clicks on links contained in those messages. For the purpose of improving and targeting our offers and adapting future communications, the recorded data is automatically processed, analyzed, profiled, and used to assess the level of interest of our clients in the sent messages. Based on the recorded data and created profiles, we do not carry out automated decision-making.
For the purpose of email communication, we store the following data:
- email address
Personal data is collected based on the explicit consent of individuals. Consents are stored together with their content and the content of the form through which they were obtained.
The collected personal data is used by the following departments:
- Sales
- Marketing
2. Data transfer
The collected personal data is stored within the territory of the Republic of Slovenia and is not transferred to other countries under any circumstances.
3. Retention period
Collected personal data is stored until the individual withdraws their consent for data storage and processing. Upon withdrawal of consent, the individual’s personal data is permanently deleted without delay.
If the purposes described above for which we store and process personal data cease to exist, the data collections whose purpose has ceased will be permanently deleted without delay.
Data on message views and link clicks in received messages is stored for 12 months from the date of sending the message.
4. How we protect collected personal data
We always provide content and information only and never request credit card numbers or other data that could be misused by cybercriminals. The website www.jmmc.si is hosted on a secure server and is subject to regular security checks.
Collected personal data is used exclusively for the purposes stated above and is not marketed or disclosed to third parties, except to partners who assist us in maintaining the website and who are contractually bound to protect personal data under the same conditions as JMMC HP d.o.o.
In exceptional cases, personal data may be disclosed to state authorities or security bodies in accordance with the law, if an official request for such data is submitted.
5. Rights of individuals
Each individual may request the following with regard to their personal data at any time:
- access,
- correction,
- complete deletion,
- transfer to another provider of related services,
- restriction of processing and storage or withdrawal of consent for processing and storage, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal.
Requests may be submitted via email to info@jmmc.si or in writing by post to the company’s registered office.
If we intend to further process personal data for a purpose other than the one for which the data was originally collected, the individual will be informed of this new purpose and all other relevant information prior to such further processing, as outlined in this document.
If an individual believes that their rights regarding the protection of personal data have been violated in any way, they may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia:
